BHCG’s Delivering Value Series (DVS) Symposiums
BHCG’s Delivering Value Series (DVS) Symposiums are designed for employers, their advisors, providers and other stakeholders to gain in-depth knowledge about health care and benefits, the value of BHCG membership and innovative employer solutions in BHCG’s portfolio. Attendees learn how BHCG’s partnerships with best in class strategic partners and industry leaders address the most pressing benefits issues today and bring real value to member employers.
Most recently, BHCG conducted a symposium entitled, Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) Compliance Broker/Consultant Compensation Disclosure Rules. This symposium detailed the responsibilities of employers as a fiduciary under the CAA, as it relates to broker/consultant compensation. Materials from this symposium, including the slide presentations, an audio/video recording and executive summary are now available on the BHCG website.
Next up in the DVS is a symposium scheduled for November 2 titled, Employers as Health Care Change Agents: The Time Is Now. More information and registration are now available.

Centivo Produces First eBook: How Healthy is Your Health Plan
Centivo recently produced its first eBook: How Healthy is Your Health Plan – a seven-point checkup for evaluating affordability, access and quality of your health plan. It’s intended to help employers evaluate the “health” of their current plan and where there’s room for improvement. It includes an interactive checklist as well as an in-depth examination into the challenges most employers face and recommendations for fixing them.

As BHCG continually enhances its programs and adds services, it’s necessary to update our portfolio of marketing materials. Recently the Employer Collaboration Value Proposition was posted to our website, which details the importance of why employers should work collectively to improve health care value.
As recently reported in The Catalyst, BHCG has added Artemis Health to its portfolio of best in class strategic partners. Member Employer A. O. Smith Recognized as a Best Place to Work by Milwaukee Business Journal
A. O. Smith Corporation, a BHCG member employer since 2007, was recently recognized as a 2022 best place to work in southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Business Journal. Among 125 nominated employers, A. O. Smith was one of 60 recognized. Employers were measured based on online surveys completed by a majority of their employees. Employees rated their employer on factors such as personal engagement, communication and resources, teamwork, retention, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers and senior leaders, manager effectiveness and job satisfaction. Congratulations, A. O. Smith, on this well-deserved recognition!
