BHCG Member Employers Involved in New Initiative to Impact Diet-Related Disease

Food For Health, a BHCG member employer, along with its parent organization Dohmen Company Foundation, announced its initiative at the end of 2022 to combat diet-related disease. The Foundation has pledged $75 million over seven years to target healthy eating. Food For Health, a nonprofit focused on providing nutritious meals to those in need, will impact 50,000 lives over the next five years.

A second Dohmen Company Foundation subsidiary, Food Benefit Company, has ties to BHCG as well. Two member employers, Baird and Olympus Group, are serving as test sites for Food Benefit Company’s initiative to assist employers in helping their employees eat healthier and improve well-being through a food and lifestyle employee benefit.

With an estimated 60 percent of adults in the U.S. living with chronic diseases – diet-related chronic diseases being the most prevalent— Dohmen Company Foundation and its subsidiaries are committed to deploying solutions aimed at preventing diet-related disease.
