Consider this your personal invitation to join us at our sixth annual BHCG golf outing at Ironwood Golf Course benefiting Sojourner Family Peace Center. Since 2018, our BHCG annual golf outing has raised more than $150,000 for deserving community-based nonprofits. We have a fun-filled day of golf planned with on course activities (how about a chance at winning $10,000 for a hole-in-one?), raffles, auction, lunch on the course and a buffet dinner.
Sojourner Family Peace Center is the largest nonprofit provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin, serving nearly 8,000 clients each year. Sojourner provides an array of support services aimed at helping families affected by domestic violence achieve safety, justice and well-being.
Sojourner President & CEO Carmen Pitre will be joining us at the golf outing and will have a chance to tell you more about the comprehensive and compassionate services this amazing Milwaukee-based facility provides for survivors of domestic violence. We will also hear from a representative from VOICES, a Sojourner committee of survivors of domestic violence who volunteer their time to share their stories, support other survivors, and advocate for peace in the community.

The health of women, children and families is essential to our work of ending domestic violence in our community. The generosity of the golfers, sponsors and volunteers participating in On Course Fore Safe and Healthy Families will help us provide shelter, services, safety and – above all – hope to families in need of support.
