Broker/Consultant event held January 25 to share 2016 Virtual Health Plan results

On January 25 more than 60 brokers and consultants gathered to hear from UnitedHealthcare’s Virtual Health Plan executive team. The BHCG/UnitedHealthcare Virtual Health Plan model is designed to optimize benefit plan performance for BHCG member employers using powerful analytic technology. With an intense focus on employer clinical and affordability needs, results are used to develop systemic, as well as customer specific solutions.

An interactive panel discussion comprised of employers of various sizes who shared their perspectives on the value of the Health Plan Performance review program was also on the agenda, followed by a cocktail reception. Thank you to all the brokers and consultants who attended this event.

BHCG has “re-invented“ itself

After utilizing the same corporate logo and tagline since our inception, we have created a new corporate identity for our organization. A creative, collaborative and thorough process that included feedback from various stakeholders has yielded a new BHCG brand identity, symbolized by our new logo.

BHCG Logo

With a change in our strategy and an expansion of our service area, it was the perfect time for BHCG to refresh our identity to better reflect who we are and where we are going.

  • The core value proposition of BHCG is our mission to bring together the purchasing power and innovation of employers – as depicted in the intertwined organic shapes of the logo’s mark and the melding of the ‘C’ and ‘G’ of the name.
  • The bold new color palette and straightforward, clean design is meant to be indicative of employers undertaking bold initiatives to “lead change” and “create value” as the new tagline reads.
  • The new BHCG logo places emphasis on the acronym ‘BHCG’ as the ‘call name’ of our organization, rather than the formal name, as our recently changed URL reflects – making it easier to recall and recognize.

As we launch our new look, it’s appropriate to celebrate our success and look forward to carrying our mission into a new era.

Visit BHCG’s YouTube channel

As we reported in the December edition of The Catalyst, BHCG recently established its own YouTube channel as a place to house several videos we have produced promoting the value of membership in our organization. Recorded at our recent annual meeting, the videos provide valuable insights from member employer representatives and UnitedHealthcare product specialists about the benefits, products and services available to employers through BHCG membership.

BHCG is developing several additional videos describing the benefits available to employers through the Business Health Care Group/UnitedHealthcare partnership. These videos will be posted to the BHCG YouTube channel in the near future.

Current videos are also available on our website.
