Three events, scheduled for the next several months, should be of interest to our readers. On September 25, the Wellness Council’s 24th Annual Worksite Wellness Conference will be held at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee. 

Worksite Wellness Conference

The Wellness Council of Wisconsin will hold its 24th Annual Worksite Wellness Conference on September 25 at the Wisconsin Center In Milwaukee. Titled, Evolving Corporate Wellbeing, the conference will feature an outstanding line-up of local and national speakers who will be sharing their expertise. A Pre-Conference Summit will be held on September 24 from 12:30 pm to 4:00pm at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. The Summit, Creating a Resilient Workforce: The Art of Stress Management, will feature Brian Luke Seaward, PhD, best selling author and motivational speaker.

Wisconsin Health Information Organization (WHIO) Learning Forum

WHIO will conduct a Learning Forum on October 14 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Madison. The forum is titled, Spotlight on Payment Report: Finding What Works.  Presentation topics include:

  • Applying total cost of care
  • Medicaid payment reform
  • SMARTCare project
  • Behavioral Screening and Intervention services (BSI) pilot
  • Controlling specialty pharmacy costs

Free to employers for the first time — National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH) Annual Conference

NBCH will hold its 19th Annual Conference in Washington, DC, November 10-12. Entitled, Employers Transforming Health Care: The Power of Collaboration, the conference will featureindustry experts who will share their insights about how employers can take the lead in driving health care change!
