Measuring Our Success…

One of Many BHCG Membership Advantages – Preferred Fees and Contractual Terms and Conditions with Best in Class Strategic Partners

Integral to the BHCG value proposition is the number of BHCG best in class strategic partners to help employers more effectively manage their benefit programs. BHCG’s diverse portfolio of employer solutions, aligned with BHCG’s mission to improve health care value, include:

  • Centivo a unique high-performance health plan, offering primary care-centered broad and narrow network solutions with claims administration
  • Navitus Health Solutions for pharmacy benefit management
  • Quantum Health for consumer navigation and care coordination
  • Teladoc (formerly Best Doctors) for informed patient decision-making
  • Welldoc for diabetes management

BHCG’s arrangements with these organizations – codified through a negotiated Master Services Agreement – allows employers to avail themselves of:

  • Preferred fee arrangements
  • Best in class contractual terms and conditions
  • Performance guarantees
  • Exclusive product offerings

BHCG has also created additional membership opportunities for employers in its service area and nationwide – specifically through reduced-fee standalone memberships for employers to access BHCG’s contractual relationships with its best in class strategic partners, regardless of where they have employees. All BHCG solutions and product offerings are optional – giving member employers the flexibility to structure benefits and resource utilization as they see fit.

Navitus Savings Results for Eight BHCG Member Employers

Navitus Health Solutions, BHCG’s best in class strategic partner for pharmacy benefit management, is producing substantial savings for member employers who have implemented Navitus. Using its administrative fee only model, featuring complete transparency and lowest net cost, Navitus has produced outstanding cost savings for eight member employers who moved to Navitus in either 2019 or 2020.

These eight member employers averaged 29 percent savings in their first year with Navitus compared to their previous year’s experience with a different pharmacy benefit manager (PBM). In dollar terms, this represented savings in excess of $2.5 million.

Preliminary results for member employers who have been with Navitus for two years shows there are substantial savings also in year two.

Presently 12 member employers utilize Navitus as their PBM, with more considering joining. Employers or their advisors interested in learning more about Navitus and the savings they can generate should contact Jeffrey Kluever at jkluever@bhcgwi.org or 262-875-3312 x1.
