Sixth Annual BHCG Golf Outing Raises More Than $50,000 for Sojourner Family Peace Center

Our sixth annual golf outing, On Course Fore Safe & Healthy Families, held at Ironwood Golf Course on August 17, was a smashing success! More than 130 golfers enjoyed a great day on the course, raising more than $50,000 to benefit Sojourner Family Peace Center, the largest nonprofit provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin, serving more than 10,000 clients each year. Milwaukee-based Sojourner provides an array of support aimed at helping families affected by domestic violence achieve safety, justice and well-being.
The sixth annual golf outing was our most successful ever and another prime example of our unwavering commitment to responsible corporate citizenship. Everyone involved (sponsors, golfers, auction item donors and volunteers) was truly motivated to raise money for this critical community resource and their generosity is greatly appreciated. The BHCG golf outings have now raised more than $200,000 to benefit area nonprofits.

The health of women, children and families is essential to our work of ending domestic violence in our community.
