BHCG offers Livongo diabetes management services at preferred rates
In BHCG’s continuing efforts to provide member employers with more solutions to manage their health care benefit programs, we recently established an arrangement with Livongo for the provision of diabetes management services at preferred rates.
Livongo's diabetes management program is designed to drive real behavior change by creating personalized experiences for member employers’ employees and dependents. Livongo utilizes a combination of advanced data science, consumer health technology, personalized recommendations and real-time 24/7 support provided by Certified Diabetes Educators to deliver measurable clinical and financial results.

BHCG to offer opioid communications toolkit
On the heels of BHCG’s successful spring learning program, The Opioid Crisis: Gathering Forces to Confront the Epidemic, BHCG will be developing opioid communication materials for use by member employers and the community at large at no cost. The materials will focus on workplace and safety issues, education, prevention, employee benefits and assistance related to opioid dependence and abuse.
A variety of media, including worksite materials such as posters, clings, table tents, video monitor content and presentations in the initial module of materials will be offered. Audiences for the materials include supervisors/managers, employees and their dependents and vendors.
Benefits Forum tours Sixteenth Street Clinic
BHCG’s May Benefits Forum included a presentation and tour of the Sixteenth Street Clinic in Milwaukee. Attendees learned of the Clinic’s history, its financial impact on the community along with information about its various locations and services provided.
