Business Health Care Group was pleased to serve as the Presenting Sponsor for the Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers’ annual celebrity roast held on November 20. In addition to BHCG, several member employers were sponsors of the event including Baird, Northwestern Mutual, Children’s Wisconsin and Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren.
A crowd of over 500 hundred gathered at The Pavilion at Discovery World on November 20 to celebrate the Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers’ 50 years of service to the community. The program featured a roast of Marquette University president Michael Lovell and his wife, Amy. More than $200,000 was raised during the evening for this most worthy cause.
Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers provides high quality health care, health education and social services on an annual basis to more than 40,000 residents of the multi-cultural neighborhoods on Milwaukee’s South Side and in Waukesha.
In addition to serving as the presenting sponsor for the celebrity roast, BHCG has donated $25,000 to Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers over the past two years with proceeds from our annual golf outing. This year our golf outing – scheduled for August 20 – will again benefit the clinic. BHCG is proud to support the mission and work of the Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers!
