From its inception, BHCG has clearly understood neither a single employer nor one organization was large enough to have the positive impact on the cost and quality of health care we desire. We lend our support to these Wisconsin-based affiliate organizations through participation on their boards and communicate their essential work to our member employers and interested stakeholders:

Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ)

The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) is a multistakeholder collaborative whose members presently include 35 health systems, 325 medical clinics, and more than 150 dentists. WCHQ provider members measure the quality and affordability of health care services in Wisconsin and share results online. Its mission is to drive improvement in health care quality and affordability for all.

Wisconsin Health Information Organization

The Wisconsin Health Information Organization (WHIO) maintains Wisconsin’s All-Payer Claims Database (APCD), the state's most comprehensive source of health care data and information, representing the majority of covered lives in the state. It provides data and information to assess the quality, safety and cost-efficiency of health care delivered in the state.

Wisconsin Statewide Health Information Network (WISHIN)

The Wisconsin Statewide Health Information Network (WISHIN) is an independent organization dedicated to bringing the benefits of widespread, secure, interoperable health information technology to patients and caregivers throughout the state. It develops information-sharing services that facilitate electronic delivery of the right health information at the right place and right time, to the right individuals.
