C-Suite Event Focuses on Building Cultures of Wellbeing; BHCG Results

On October 12 BHCG conducted its third event in the "Shared Vision - Facing the Future of Health Care Together" series for regional c-suite representatives. Hosted by Baird, the program focused on population health management, building cultures of wellbeing and BHCG health care costs results.

Keynoting the event was population health leader, Ray Fabius, MD, co-founder and president of HealthNEXT, the emerging frontrunner in building corporate cultures of health and wellbeing. His address, Population Health, Population Health Management and Building Cultures of Wellbeing, provided insights for employers into what it takes to build a sustainable culture of health and wellbeing in their organizations.

David Smith, assistant vice president, customer analysis & solutions at UnitedHealthcare shared BHCG financial results for 2016 vs. 2015. He also reported on the significant positive impact the use of Premium care physicians and consumer engagement has on health care spend.

We would like to thank everyone who attended. The event showcased how employers can create cultures of health and bend the health care cost curve. An executive summary of the afternoon's program and slides from David Smith's presentation and Dr. Fabius' presentation are available for review.
