Upcoming events of interest

Three events, scheduled for the next several months, should be of interest to our readers, including the BHCG’s Spring Learning Event, scheduled for April 22.

  • Please save the date for the BHCG Spring “Hot Topics” Learning Event.  The event will be held at Briggs & Stratton on April 22 from 7:30 to 10:00.  Get valuable insights and strategies from industry experts about important benefit issues confronting employers today.  Hot topics planned for the agenda include:
    • Employer strategies for managing specialty drugs
    • Affordable Care Act (ACA) impact on smoking cessation programs and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Act (MHPAEA)

  • On March 11, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s College of Health Sciences will sponsor a 2015 Leadership Healthcare Forum at The Italian Community Center, 631 East Chicago Street in downtown Milwaukee from 7:30 to 10:30 AM.  Dianne Kiehl, the BHCG’s executive director will serve as a panelist on the program, entitled: Healthcare Reform: What Are Employers Considering to Address Healthcare Costs Over the Next Five Years?   • The Midwest Business Group Health will hold its 35th Annual Conference in Chicago April 29-30.  Titled, The Wild Wild West of Health Care Benefits: Traversing Rough Terrain, the conference will be held at the Mid-America Club, 200 East Randolph Street.  Click here for more information and to register.
