By now, you should have received your invitation to our annual meeting. This year it will be held on the morning of Wednesday, September 30, at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward. For the past several years we have had the privilege of presenting nationally recognized, sought after industry experts to provide enlightening and informative keynote addresses. This year continues that strong tradition with a keynote address by Dr. Roger Merrill

I had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Merrill speak at the annual meeting of the Midwest Business Group on Health in April. A charismatic and humorous speaker, Dr. Merrill pulls no punches when describing the drivers of poor health, and the resultant high costs for American employers and their employees. More importantly, he shares insights about how one employer addressed the problem with considerable success. Read More

UHC Communications Toolkit

As we reported in the June edition of The Catalyst, the BHCG and its communications partner, The Write Source, have been working with UnitedHealthcare (UHC) to develop an effective package of materials employers can utilize to communicate the new programs related to the move to UHC effective January 1, 2016. Since then, we have utilized the help of four employers that have served in a focus group role to review the materials.  The feedback as a result of that process has allowed us to further fine tune the materials and we are now very close to releasing what we are calling the Communications Toolkit.
