Retirement can wait…
at least for a while
From the Executive Director

As most of you have probably heard by now, I am planning to retire in 2015.  In January I asked the BHCG leadership to begin preparing for my retirement.  While no specific date has been set, I anticipate it will be some time in the first quarter.

While the BHCG leadership begins the task of identifying my replacement, I remain fully engaged and committed to assisting the BHCG in setting the strategic direction for the organization.  Much work needs to be done this year and into 2015 to make sure the organization is well-positioned to succeed in the ever-changing health care environment we are facing.  You have my promise that I will continue to provide energetic leadership as the employer community identifies solutions designed to bring more value to health care in our community.

A couple of weeks ago I had the honor of celebrating 10 years as the executive director of the Business Health Care Group (BHCG).  I am proud of the success of the BHCG and the commitment of the employer community in "driving meaningful change" and I look forward to continuing to serve our organization over the remaining months of my tenure.
