Event: BHCG Educational Seminar (in conjunction with Humana)

Topic: Rethink Your Workforce Strategies Now: Anticipating the Aging Work Trend. Americans’ life expectancies are extending into their late 70s, with many opting to stay in the workforce well beyond traditional retirement ages. As a result, employers in the U.S. will experience a change in the composition of their workforces toward a population that is more mature, even leaning senior. This will have a significant impact on how employers recruit, retain, and support workers over the coming decades. Crafting strategies for managing that transition will be the task of HR and benefits administration professionals. The seminar will address:

  • How the aging trend will impact your workforce strategies
  • Why successful employers will view the aging trend as a strategic advantage
  • How to attract and retain the best of the older workforce
  • How to create a healthy, safe and secure environment for aging workers

The presenter will be Liz Boehm, principal analyst from Forrester Research, who leads Forrester’s health care and life sciences research community. She is a featured and highly rated speaker at national health care events and is frequently quoted in such leading publications as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
